Update: Emerging Conservation Tourism Plan
Emerging Conservation Tourism Plan
- I want to share my method for pasting and protecting the Boabab Trees from over eating by the elephants and raise awareness for this conservation approach that considers the wellbeing of both the trees and the elephants.
- I want The Mowana Rehabilitation Program to become self sustaining by generating funds to support it.
- To help accomplish both of these objectives I am starting Wild-Map Safaris, a conservation safari opportunity for tourists interested in supporting conservation.
- The safari will be based at the mobile tented camp with extensive wildlife viewing and visits to the iconic Mowanas/Baobabs we are protecting for first hand experience of the process.
- Some time can also be spent on a houseboat cruising in the untouched tranquility of the Okavango Delta.
