hr week 6 reflection

The picture above is the evidence for what I did this week working for my dad, my job has evolved from just taking care of income and outcome of money, to overall helping in the job by installing the things my dad does, these are an example of what I installed this week, I am also working on a chair by myself but haven't gotten the time to Finnish it because I've been doing other things and couldn't go to the office to work on it. ====================================================== Rewards I've gotten from this week's experience, and new knowledge, I learned how to install these "Exterior blinds" I think they are called. =================================================== Is it fair that the average salary is higher for men than for women in most jobs? if they are doing the same job and the same amount of work with the same quality of outcome then no. Is it fair for a boss to leave work before an employee? yeah sure, that just means that the boss trusts you. Why don’t some countries have anit-discrimination laws regarding fa person’s age, race, gender, sexual orientation, religion or disability? Even when countries have those laws in place, why does it still happen? What can you do about it as a manager or a worker? I think some countries still have their male dominance culture, and there is not much that can be done because it would be a direct attack to their culture. ======================================================= How do these connect to Adams's theory of motivation? - these are ways of rewarding the worker for their work. How do these connect to Taylor? -it is a way of controlling an employe's work because it is balancing payment for work How do these connect to Herzberg? - they act as motivators How do these connect to Pink? again they reward people so that they are motivated to work ======================================================= Overall this week I learned new things, I haven't been able to update the sheets but I've been doing other types of works to help my Dad, although it wasn't planned to do this, I am enjoying these other works.
