Establishing my CAS project has been difficult. I frequently had ideas coming to my head before I finally decided I am encompassing myself by offering my service to a small library project in Carillo. I am concerned since I am unacquainted with how a library works but I am content to learn. Also, I am analyzing who would be the best option for my mentor guideline which has been a complicated process however I think I already know who the right person might be.
A big important step for my project is to set a SMART goal. In addition to this, I would like to develop strong communication with people as well as learn about libraries and help others by finding the importance of books. To successfully achieve my goal I am going to reach out to people and help them become more conscious about the significance of books. This way I can organize the purpose of the project and forecast what is the promising result from it.
The project I will be working on was established to help lower-class people develop better writing skills. There is a really bad education in the area where public school students or local people aren’t receiving a good learning process. Within the problem mentioned before a group of locals decided to open a small library where people can go learn not only how other people write but also other languages. This project has benefited the community and is willing to improve. I reached out to the locals and told them my interest and also mentioned my CAS project. They were curious about the idea and they seem to enjoy talking to me about further projects for us to work together. I listened to their project perspectives and I am willing to help and find ways to help the community in this area. The duration of the project is unknown but I am hoping to work with them as much as I can.
