Julie Action Journal Entry – April 16th 2020
This break I have been trying to exercise pretty frequently since we are unable to leave our houses or do any of the things we are used to when it comes to exercising. What I did to make sure I am getting enough exercise was to create a schedule where I decided I would workout two days in a row and then have one break day which means I would workout about 5 days a week. My workout routine is basically where I start out with some type of cardio usually running just around my neighborhood or like jumping jacks and high knees if i'm feeling lazy. Then I just would watch a like 20 minute youtube video of an ab workout the first day and a leg workout the second. I am proud of myself because I have been very consistent with this routine and I don’t feel as lazy when I get up to do it.
Learning outcomes:
Demonstrate that challenges have been undertaken, developing new skills in the process: I have demonstrated that challenges have been undertaken because I am usually pretty bad at staying consistent with working out and usually don’t give it my all, but because of quarantine and being unable to do most of the things I would usually do over break I have a lot more time, which has given me the opportunity to stay consistent and make sure I am getting this done.
