This week for Ms. Cat I worked on the google slides and helped her edit one of her videos. This week for the google slides the kids were working on weaving and Mexican bark painting and I put photos with all their art into the slides. I helped Ms. Cat edit her video for next weeks work which will be paper sculpture playgrounds. For editing the video Ms. Cat just asked me to take away unnecessary parts of the video, for example when she was just moving the camera from her computer to her face or shuffling through her slides. Throughout thus project I feel like overall I have helped Ms. Cat a lot with extra time, because me doing this work for her gives her the the chance to use this extra time to think of more creative ideas and be able to put in more effort into the planning of classes.
This week I also really enjoyed the Brooklyn 99 project because since I have already seen the show, it was really interesting to go back and rewatch a few episodes, but paying attention to the business aspect of managing and leading, which I hadn’t noticed or payed attention to before. I also think this is a really fun way to learn because I was actually excited to do the work this week and it made me end up putting more effort into it because of that.
