House Journal Entry
Right now, I haven’t left my house in a week and a few days making days super boring and tiring. Also, I’ve been receiving classes online which I am grateful for because many kids in the world right now don’t have access to these types of technology.
Something that I’ve been putting off doing but suddenly have time, for now, is trying DIY activities from my Pinterest board.
Shows like Friends have helped me laugh and relieve some stress. Also, I had a Harry Potter marathon a few days ago which boosted my energy a little bit.
Organizing or decorating my room is something that I’m doing to bring a little joy or comfort into my day. I also try to clean my room to the best of my ability because being surrounded by an organized clean space makes me feel more productive.
I put my phone away or shut it off completely. I like working in quiet spaces where I feel like I can hear my thoughts and that helps me focus when studying.
The most hilarious thing I saw so far that distracted me from studying was this Tik Tok of a kid running after its puppy at airport security. It made me laugh because it was a kid who had no chance of catching his puppy and it also reminded me of the times I’ve had to go running after my dogs when they escape.
I would say my mantra right now would be “be the energy you want to attract” because I really want this whole virus thing to be over so I can go back to school, hang out with my friends, etc. Therefore, I need to remain positive so positive things happen around me.
My brother and my dog. I usually remain in my room because it’s my little cave and my parents are usually working in the living room but my brother always pops his head in my room and sees what I’m doing. Same thing with my dog, we watch movies together.
My brother tends to grab my school supplies without permission and that usually bothers me or that he cries over the stupidest things.
That he’s a kid and is so spontaneous that it’s funny. I love him
