Gratitude Journal Entry
What I can understand from the quote of Jimmy Casas is that the contribution people make to your project whether it is big or small will impact it somehow and it’s our duty to be grateful for the said contribution. After all, without the help of others, you can’t really do anything on your own. With the help of others, one is able to see different perspectives, think open-mindedly, work collaboratively, and more. This trimester and you could say the year, some people that have helped me develop as a person, and helped me succeed with my CAS Projects is Geneva, Miss Kerry, and Melanie and Ashley from 12th grade. Geneva is someone I’ll be eternally grateful for since she’s had so much patience with Julie and me since we’ve had no experience or barely any on that matter insofar as projects like Proyecto Vida Mujer. Geneva has guided us through dealing with aspects of global importance like public health, contracts, etc.
Furthermore, Miss Kerry, Ashley, and Melanie are people that I’m also super grateful to have in my life guiding Julie and me through the steps of making the yearbook. I am very proud of Julie and me of creating a club from scratch and also creating a timeline for when everything has to be due with only furthers our organizational and time management skills. Miss Kerry has led us through this since she’s our mentor per se, and she trusts us a lot with the yearbook and with all the aspects regarding it. Melanie and Ashley are guiding us through the yearbook and in our yearbook meetings since they have experience in that, which is something I’ll forever thank them for.
