May Update

So far in May the largest development in my project is the coconut coir that Coco Loko, a local restaurant has agreed to donate. Coko Loko has almost 80% of their food waste as coconut shells and has decided to buy a mulcher in order to break them down. This mulch is called coir and can be used as a fertilizer or as woodchips in gardening projects. Coco Loko said that as long as CRR can pick them up they are totally free and it looks like they are going to have a lot of coir. I talked to Sio and he said that we can use it. The two leaner objectives that I met were working collaboratively with others and global engagement. I got the idea and contact from my tennis coaches who are also working with Coco Loko to do trash pickup days.
