My Idea

Is talking about your idea feel scary? Maybe people’s expectations will make you worried. Or maybe talking about it will make it real?

I am a little worried about my idea and how it’s going to turn out because working with a teen is very difficult for them to be engaged and like something that isn’t social media. Also, people’s expectations get me worried because if I don’t succeed in my plan it makes me wonder what they’re going to think about not only me but about the whole team that I’m working with. Another aspect that worries me is my creative thinking in order to get the whole community another involved in our project. Talking about my ideas makes me feel excited about all the help we will get and how good the community is going to look but also doubtful if I’m going to be able to complete it.

You might have a lot of ideas right now. That is fine too. Does it make you worried or anxious to not have a plan?

It does make me worried and anxious about not having a clear plan because I’m getting close to Ib and I need a good start, good ideas, and a clear understanding of what I doing in order for it to go well. I have lost of ideas know but I always doubt them or find a negative aspect about them that makes me not want to do it. Currently, I kinda have a clear idea but I’m just worried about how it’s going to turn out or if my audience is going to like it.

How are you going to motivate yourself to spend a lot of time with your idea? Really analyze if the idea that you are kicking around in your head is the one that you want to spend that much time with.

I will motivate myself by thinking positively about it. Think about how much impact I’m going to make in the community and how it doing my part to help it for the future. Learn and grow from my mistakes during this journey because it will make me not do the next time or just make take time to understand where I fell short. I have other ideas that I really want to take time with but I’m just starting with my simple one to get a better understanding of the whole project before starting my big idea.
