What Will I do Over Vacation

Although vacation is something I’m looking forward to since I want to relax and not focus a lot on my IB schoolwork, I know I’m still going to have to do a little of my IB coursework, amongst this, work on my CAS project. This winter my CAS plans will still consist of covering all areas of CAS (Creativity, Action, and Service).

This winter vacation I will be creative since I have already planned a day with Grace where she’s coming to my house and we’re putting our artistic skills into practice by designing and painting rocks. We both have been looking forward to this and we realized it’s a great way to demonstrate the creativity embedded in CAS. 

Furthermore, I will remain active this winter since I want to keep working out until the new year comes and develop a healthy habit. I have been working out every day for the past 3 weeks and I want to develop a healthy habit that will remain with me in 2021. I realized working out helps me release stress as well as clear my mind and helps me start anew on my projects.

Finally, the way in which I will show service this winter is by still working on the yearbook. Julie and I will probably start deciding the cover as well as start organizing and putting together the pages and even start telling the seniors to start thinking of designing their pages. I also want to go to Fano’s beach clean-up on December 5th since I believe it’s a good way to connect with each other and help the community in which we live which has been severely affected by the number of incoming tourists.
