The Model of the United Nations was made for students to explore the way the United Nations work in real life. These are specifically targeted to people who are interested in politics. MUN has become one of my favorite events throughout the year, This year we went to San Jose to participate in a bigger MUN. There were many schools and many nationalities. I was very excited to meet new people and hear their thoughts about a specific issue. I was happy to be at this event because I was able to learn a lot from different people. I also made new friends.
I did not win any prizes, however my committee was chosen to be the most active and competitive out of all the MUN. We had a really good time, not only as delegates but also during the ice breakers, we were able to know each other a little better. To be honest, I can’t wait to go again next year. I hope we can stay on campus next time because those schools who stayed on campus said they had a really good time all night. I had a good time with my classmates, but it would’ve been better with other people.
