Reflection on open ended questions

The 4 open ended questions I came up with: 1. Where do you like surfing? 2. How can you protect our oceans? 3. How do you use the beach/ocean? 4. How does surfing make you feel? Did the questions create the desired response? Explain why or why not. I think these questions for the majority gave me the desired response because I got to see how others feel about our oceans and it will help me relate to others, whom may have different opinions. Did the questions give you insight into how to solve the problem that you are addressing? Did the questions give you insight into how to fill a gap in our community? I think some of the responses for these questions could definitely help me get insight and figure out how to fill in the gap in our community, which is the problem im trying to solve by using the love for surfing and our beaches. Did the questions require your audience to think about the larger issue? Why or why not? I think that one of my questions for sure made them think about the larger issue because it made them think about how we take care of our oceans and how we enjoy them. Which question was your favorite and why? My favorite question is “How does surfing make you feel?” because It is very important for me to figure out how surfing makes others feel, in order to appeal to everyone’s wants and needs. I also enjoyed listening to how others feel when surfing or in the ocean.
