Is this project still feasible? If so, how?
Both the IUD project and yearbook are still feasible as Geneva told us about a month ago that they were going to do another campaign sometime soon, just on a way smaller scale than the usual ones due to the Coronavirus. And for the yearbook Jimena and I are planning to start the project early this year starting with pictures and maybe coming up with new ideas for the pages, as many won’t be filled because the events are cancelled.
What does the end of the project look like, the same or different? Why?
For the yearbook, the end result will look very similar, just there might be a few new pages and some old ones taken out. For the IUD project the end of the project is still similar as well, as we are doing the same things, as in campaigns, but just with less women at a time.
What are the steps that you are taking this week, next week and the week after to create evidence of your work and move your project forward?
Jimena and I are beginning the yearbook, setting up a new Pictavo account and also announcing in morning meeting to hopefully get some of the 10th and 9th graders to join and take over the project once Jimena and I leave. We are planning to start having meetings once a week with the new students that join. With the IUD project Jimena and I need to reach out to Geneva and see specifically when the smaller campaign is going to happen.
Who are you collaborating with? How is that going? Do you need a meeting?
Jimena and I have already reached out to Ms. Kerry to inform her we will be continuing with yearbook, but we do still need to reach out to Geneva to see about the IUD campaign.
What resources do you need?
For resources I don’t think we need anything at the moment, for yearbook we will just be using pictavo and for the IUD project we are still unsure about specifics on the next campaign.
