Update: What you have learned journal entry
What you have learned journal entry
I started to work on my singing skills while playing my guitar, I was already ok at playing the guitar, but I never really tried singing. as it can be expected I didn't start so well. I have had been evading singing because I am shy and don't like to sing in front of people. Started by simply learning how to play songs on my guitar and singing along to them, then while singing I would match my voice to the chord I'm playing so it doesn't sound off tune, with time and practice my voice almost automatically matches the chords tune, however, I don't have that big of a tone range in my voice so I have to either learn deeper songs or sign them in a deeper tone. The first song I think I recorded on my phone to listen to myself singing was radioactive, and although some of the song wasn't really perfected yet when I heard myself singing the chorus it sounded really good, thanks to this song that I recorded(deleted right after I listened because for some reason I don't want to have a video of me singing in my phone) is that I started learning more songs like Boulevard of broken dreams and also other songs in Spanish. I lost momentum when my guitar string broke, I now have to wait until i can buy a new set of strings so I can play guitar again and practice my singing. I didn't notice I played the guitar so much until I realized that without the guitar I have a lot of free time.
my plan is to step 1: get new strings step 2: continue learning new songs each with higher notes so that I can practice. step 3: This isn't really a step but I signed up for the IB world choir thing miss Martha posted. step 4: keep learning new songs.
