Are We Alone?

I think our intelligence can put speculations of if we are alone to use. If we in fact discover other forms of life out there, we could maybe more deeply understand what makes our earth the way it is, and how our specific type of organisms came to be with definitive evidence rather than theories. The idea of us not being alone is a little scary to me, I’ve definitely seen one too many science fiction movies, but I feel curious about it too, because if there is other life out there then I want to know if it’s like us, or more like animals, or something completely different. I think the knowledge that we aren’t alone wouldn’t really change how we go about our daily lives, but I think it would expand our knowledge of the universe in a valuable way.
