The Climate Crisis

I personally think that there are a few different major obstacles. The first one I can think of is greed, the desire to continue making money instead of protecting the environment. The second one I think is a lack of unity over the issue. At the end of the day, we all live on the same planet, regardless of country, continent or city, there’s only one world, so I think being divided and not uniting to conquer this task is a major obstacle. I think a solution that is viable and effective is educating people on the graveness of the situation. The more everyday people that understand, the more that politicians and people in power will have to bend to the general public.

    Hello,
I definitely agree with you. People tend to forget that we are alive because this planet is habitable. We won’t make any money at all if all life, including ourselves, go extinct because of our harmful impact on the environment. I certainly agree that education is critical in creating change and reaching climate justice. In addition to education, I also think that it is important to find community-based solutions to reduce our impact on the environment. I think that involving every member of a local community brings a society closer together. I think the synergy of local communities working to fight and reverse the effects of Climate Change all over the planet will also play an important part in achieving climate justice.
